Alternate title: I might love Jesus, but I hate Church!

It’s a rather strong video but I can relate to most of it. People won’t care about what you have to say if they don’t know that you care about them. Love is the best evangelizing tool. When you decide to go out and truly care about each individual person – it is felt. The church is all about the people and not about methods, regulations, etc.
Thanks for posting this.
Blessings,

Well Paul, I am not sure where you found this, but I have to say it’s funny, in a disturbing kinda way.

I would venture a guess tho, that if Starbucks marketed like the church, there were be far fewer Starbucks!

Thank you all for your comments! I would agree with that Cenay! I’m going to be writing something up soon about all of this. It might kinda offend some people though…

But it will be a good learning experience! :)

God bless you all!

Hi Paul,
I got to say that the video is pretty interesting. I also have to agree with Cenay’s comment.

On that note: I wouldn’t go to that Starbucks again either.

Howdy Paul,

Makes me wonder…. WWJD (What would Jesus Drink?) Would it be black? Basic, pure and unadulterated? or do you suppose He would water it down with other flavors, sugar it up, add some cream maybe, make it into something it was never meant to be in the first place?

I have seen some churches that are more interested in marketing than they are in just preaching the good news. I think that any time a church is working a marketing angle they have fallen off track. The gospel in itself does not need to be dressed up as anything else. It will draw people on it’s own. Once a church deviates from the basic gospel and starts dressing it up, they have to market it because it is no longer God’s Word and the Holy Spirit is no longer drawing the sinner through the door.

If a business markets like this they deserve to go out of business and so does the church that deviates from the truth.
